Data is gradually being added to this online database, accessible by SFHG members using the username/password sent out each year.

Sussex Marriages up to 1837 are available on CD.

Baptisms: All the baptismal data that is in the current database is on this site, and new data is being added as it is added to the database. Any queries to baptisms@sfhg.org.uk

Burials: many are now on the database. Any queries to tombstones@sfhg.org.uk

Monumental inscriptions are held by tombstones and members can have searches made by emailing tombstones@sfhg.org.uk

Census data: a start has been made in adding Census data.

Sussex People Index - the data is April 2012.
If the result in which you are interested is from the Sussex People Index, click on the View icon to the left of the result. For each record of interest note the source number and the entry number.

Under the heading BROWSE RECORDS click on People Index and click on the folder Sources and then click on the Book icon. Click on the icon against the appropriate source numbers for more information.

Under the heading BROWSE RECORDS click on People Index and click on the folder Entries, then Summary and click on the Book icon against the appropriate summary data number range and then search for the appropriate entry numbers. Click on the icon against the entry number for the specific detail on the surname searched.
