Sussex Marriages up to 1837 are available on CD.

Baptisms: All the baptismal data that is in the current database is on this site, and new data is being added as it is added to the database.

Burials will begin to be added when the volunteer is ready to start transferring the data from the database.

Sussex People Index
If the result in which you are interested is from the Sussex People Index, click on the View icon to the left of the result. 

For each record of interest record the source number and the entry number.

Under the heading BROWSE RECORDS click on People Index and click on the folder Sources and then click on the Book icon. Click on the icon against the appropriate source numbers for more information.

Under the heading BROWSE RECORDS click on People Index and click on the folder Entries and then click on the Book icon. Click on the icon against the appropriate summary data number range and then search for the appropriate entry numbers. Click on the icon against the entry number for the specific detail on the surname searched.

Sussex People Index at present lists the MAIN INDEX NAMES as used in the database. These are going to be removed. Please see the main SFHG website www.sfhg.org.uk for a list of surnames which are on the database. If you find a name there which does not appear in the data archive please request details of spi@sfhg.org.uk.
